The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Nero and XP

I have a problem with nero and windows XP.

I burned some data files to my cd-rw disc but for some reason i can't delete some files , i recieved a message like

"The file is a read-only file, Are you sure want to delete it"

then i clicked Yes and a nasty error appeared that I cannot delete the file

"Files on this CD are read-only. You can still copy files to this writable CD, which will replace files already on the Disc" .

How can i burn my files with "archive" attribute also so i can delete them anytime.

Also when i'm on windows explorer and i want to 'send' files directly to my writable CD-rw (Sent To or Drag on drop), But the files don't go directly to the CD-rw disc, damn it! the files are ready to be write in the CD-rw but when i tried to write the files another error appears that i need to insert a cdrw disc but my cdrw is inside!.

Is there a way to send my files to my rewritable CD directly , fast and easy? . I just want to burn my cd-rw discs and add some files there easy and fast! and able to delete ithem anytime. Please help me.

BTw i'm using Nero 5.5.7.8 OEM

my CDRW driver is:

HL-DT-ST CD-RW GCE-8240B

Windows XP Home

thanks in advanced.
