Two possibilities here:
1) It's not a movie file at all (most likely!):
Files with BIN extensions are normally:

The most likely are binary or CD format. ISOBuster will let you view the file if its the latter
http://www.ping.be/~pin114
Or
2) It is a movie file but with the wrong extension (typically this happens with P2P downloads of networks like Gnutella).
You'll need some software to identify what the extension should be
Try GSpot codec identifier (freeware)

Likely outcome - well if it's a big file this could be your movie on CD that needs decoding and then playing as normal. Small files are unlikely to be movies but you may be able to open them & find out just what you have got. Or they could be files for use on a Mac.
Hope this helps

Where'd the bin file come from? It's not a tyipcal 'movie' file extension.
