Uninstalling Ahead Nero Image Drive

I am trying to uninstall Ahead Nero's Image Drive from my computer. I have tried without any success. Everytime I do it from the Add/Remove section it just hangs and then I cannot shutdown the computer. I am currently running Windows 2000 Pro. Is there anyone out there that can assist me in removing this now roque program? Thank you all.

I'd just manually delete the directory/files from the computer, then run RegCleaner by Jouni Vuoro to remove invalid Registry references to the program (you can still find the free RegCleaner instead of the PowerTools for $13 if you search) and to remove it from the Add/Remove programs list.

or just try to delete in Safemode. coz there must be background applications that are interferaing with the uninstall process.

first you have to disable the image drive.. (makse sure no image is mounted)

then only you try uninstalling.
if fail, you can go to control panel -> administrator settings -> computer management -> device manager.

remove the hardware - nero image drive
