The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Can't move messages from Outlook XP to IMAP folders

I recently got IMAP setup on my mail server, and would like to move all of my Outlook XP mail over to it. The problem is that, with many of my messages, I get the following error: "Can't move the items. Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid." I'm not quite sure why some messages work fine, and most fail, but I would really like to get my messages onto the IMAP server without having to go through a few layers of conversion to drop them into maildir format!

Something worth mentioning is that my PST, currently, is a recovered file. It had been somehow deleted, and I rescued it with EasyRecovery Lite, and then ran the Inbox Repair Tool on it to make it usable again. Outlook has been a little "off" since that point. I'm using Windows 2000 SP4 with Outlook XP (10.2627.2625). The mail server is using qmail 1.03, vpopmail 5.2.1-r8, and Courier-IMAP 2.1.2-r1.
