capture some screen of the movies for still pictures.

for screens, you can just print screen and paste to an editing program, or word, for example.

try streamboxvcr for capturing the rm from the net, if necessary:
http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_capture_tools/streambox_vcr_suite.cfm


you can also use http://www.video-capture.info/ or camtasia (or snagit) from http://www.techsmith.com/ for capturing the video to AVI.


OR, you can just convert the RM to an AVI, and use www.virtualdub.org to capture a screen from it. Convert with this tool:

I know printscreen key but when i paste it, the video part will become whole blank dark.

i am not wanting to convert to avi, i just wan to get some pictures out from a real video (rm).

about the black after prt sreening, have you tried any of the tools I mentioned for screen capture (from techsmith, for example)?

otherwise, then the best way is to convert to avi first... another way to do it is to install RealAlternative (http://home.hccnet.nl/h.edskes/finalbuilds.htm), I believe that that way you can open the RM file directly in virtualdub (freeware) or virtualdubmod, and just save any frame to image file.

Hi,
Use Snagit <www.techsmith.com/download/default.asp>, its an excellent screen capture software which can also capture the changes in the window screen even videos and store it as a sequence of images as well as an avi video clip.
Hope u find this s/w helpful.

If you want the .rm files in specific just go to the temp internet folder of your system, and search for "*.rm". The video files are stored here temporarily, which you can save it for later viewing.

I think the Admin/Moderators should be given the right to choose weatherthe solutions provided here were appropriate of not.

If not appropriate, let it be Deleted/Abandoned. If you feel we have given the appropriate solution to the question asked, you should give us the points that we deserve.
