U can have a look at the link CO gave u above,,, but the top three tools are as follows :)

Have tried doing the removal in Safe Mode?

by: DragonmenPosted on 2004-07-15 at 03:51:10ID: 11557614

It's probalby becouse it used by windows so it won't delete from disk. It's probalby stealth so you won't see it in task manager.
Find where is this progeam installed and do the next:

Solution 1:
Boot from floppy (if program is on FAT) or put your hard disk in other computer (ntfs/fat), find this program and delete his folder.
This will not remove it from add/remove but you will get rid of it.

Solution 2:
Type msconfig, Go to Startup and uncheck check box next to it. (may not work on ME)

Solution 3:
Go to Regedit, expand [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] and delete the key of the program, restart windows and uninstall it.

I hope some of this works :)

Dragonmen

Do you think its part of windows or, a keylogged file?

Im trying solution 1, but do you mean botting up from system disk, or create another disk, would you say that putting my hard disk in another computer would help, its just that ive only got one computer and its pretty messed up, with it crashing, and running slow

by: CrazyOnePosted on 2004-07-15 at 04:40:30ID: 11557971

Hmmmm what precisely is your problem? I mean you are bouncing all over the place. What makes you think you have a key logger? And if think you do havr you tried what I suggested? Have you tried going into Safe Mode and ridding yourself of said program? And what is the program name and are you on a Domain?

by: CrazyOnePosted on 2004-07-15 at 04:44:21ID: 11558006

In other words you are not being very forthcoming to the problems you are having. Pleae spell out specifically what probems you are having. Please include your system specifications. Thank You

by: BCFCPosted on 2004-07-15 at 04:47:15ID: 11558021

Well for starters, when i talk to anyone on any chat, the cat logs then get sent to an email, it records everything i have done on the internet, and also i have found it in the add/remove programs. i dont know if this file is apart of whats happening or not, buts generally whats happening

by: CrazyOnePosted on 2004-07-15 at 05:04:07ID: 11558161

Ok Windows generally OS's do not have log keyboard activities. So yeah you may have keylogger. Ummm what does your anti-virus program report. And the same for http://crazyone.tekmasters.com/malwaretools.html

by: BCFCPosted on 2004-07-15 at 05:41:50ID: 11558446

ok ill try the safe mode and then try your link thanks CO

by: DragonmenPosted on 2004-07-15 at 11:15:22ID: 11561678

I forgot to mention safe mode. It will allow you to bypass certain system startup parameters.
BTW, i recommed you try solution 3, since it's much less painfull. :)
Boot from floppy (Windows 98) if you have fat32 on partition where is that proggy (keylogger), but if you have trouble with that or ntfs try to put to another comp.
Did you look at the system and app logs to find out if you having some trouble (slow and crash-related).
Excluding unnecessary files from solution 2 and 3 will probalby add to stability and speed of windows, but you can also turn off (disable) unnecessary services like messenger, remote registry, telnet, and so on.

I hope this helps.

Reestart to DOS and delete the following files:
c:\windows\system\bpk.exe
c.\windows\system\bpkwb.dll
c:\windows\system\bpkhk.dll

this files can be installed somewhere else, so search for them if they are not in the system directory...

i recommend you to change ALL your passwords, since this is a keylogger with ability to send mails with keylogs....

hope this help
