The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Stop Shut-down, and automatic start-up of computer

Hi!!

Well I wanted a small program (free if possible) that sits on my taskbar, and doesnt let the pc shut down before a certain time that I set. My younger brother seems to like the keyboard a lot, and thus when I leave the pc to go have a coffee or something, he happily presses the 'power-off' button on the keyboard and shuts down the pc. This is a real pain!

Also since I access the pc a lot via the Remote Desktop Connection option in Windows XP, I also wanted a small program that starts the pc automatically at a certain time. Many times when I go abroad for business trips, it takes me around 2 days to finally reach my destination, and I dont like to leave my pc switched on for 2 days until I can finally access it via my laptop in the other part of the world. So is there are program that lets me set it to start up at a fixed date/time?
