Hello I am helping someone by email. They have a zip disk just chocked full of works document. I think from a really old version. Word or Wordperfect can not open them either. What they did is move from one state to about three states away to a new 'puter running XP. They are not sure what the old 'puter was running. The new pc has office 2003 and word perfect 10. Neither will open these files. I originally thought they were word perfect, the user said they are works ( almost simular file extensions). I can right click on the file and select open with, i select word pad, check the line wrap option. I get about half a page of what I guuess is formatting. Then I get readable text that can be highlighted and copied and pasted. What I want to know is there a plug-in or program to convert these ?
