Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. need to make a batch file to open a cash drawer

I have never made a batch file before but after searching and searching on the best way to open our POS cash drawer I think creating a batch file will be the best way to open the cash drawer.
Now I know to create a batch file I can make a txt file and just rename it to .bat and then run it by just double clicking it.
our cash drawer is hooked up to the receipt printer via what looks like RJ11 and the printer is hooked to LPT1 I contacted the manufacturer and this is what they told me

How can I open a Cash Drawer connected to the 8055 Receipt Printer using Visual Basic 6 code?
Issue the command...
sWrittenData = Chr(&H1B) & Chr(&H70) & Chr(0) & Chr(25) & Chr(30)
and the drawer will open.

If your cash drawer is being used with an application:   Our receipt printer and cash drawer use an "Esc p".  In hexadecimal that is a 1B70 or, in decimal, it's a 27112.  Contact the software vendor to find out where this information must be entered in their software.

I have done some very very basic vb.net stuff in the past but I don't want to screw up my computer by doing the wrong thing and I know that you can screw up your computer with .bat files so I figured I would post this here.
Its probably a fairly easy question for someone experienced but I have been racking my brain on how to do it for the past few days and now its pretty urgent that I figure out what to do so I will give this 250 points
