The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. js3250.dll-Firefox Crashes

I have a problem with firefox crashing. Presently I have installed version 1.0.7 but this happened before I installed this version.

The problem persisted to nontolerable levels and also full system crashes until in desperation I reinstalled a nearly new (pre Katrina) system with another.  It seems that the problem lies with js3250.dll.

I still have the problem with firefox. I have 2 other computers running this same version and they have not crashed with firefox ever.

My web searches have left little information, other than it is a far more common problem than I first imagined.

I am running Windows XP Professional (SP2) on an old 1 ghz Athlon computer with 512 mb ram and a fairly new 40 GB hard drive.

Is there a solution to this problem or should I just forget about using firefox with this computer?Start Free Trial
