Creating ISO witn Nero 6.x

I have looked and can't find the answer. How do I create and ISO file of a data CD with Version 6.x of Nero? All I find is the .ng extension. Also, I would like to take my data files on my HD and create a ISO as well.

Push CTRL + R or the option to CHOOSE RECORDER.  From that menu you want to set the recorder to IMAGE RECORDER, and then go through the process as if you were copying a cd.  Now you can save it as NRG / ISO / BIN etc.

Just in case you still have trouble Alcoholo 120% and Daemon Tools are also good software utilities that you may be interested in.

I recently discovered a power toy for Xp/2003/Vista that really simplifies things.

http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/v2.htm

Just right click on the drive letter for your optical drive and choose create ISO.Works on folders as well.


Works well and best of all it's free
