Browse All TopicsI've been haveing some problems with outlook 2000. First, it use to take a really long time to open, or to do anything. I then upgraded to 2003 pro hoping it will solve all issues but the same problem will was still there. It also gave me the error "Can't Contact LDAP Directory server (81)" when trying to add a contact while sending a email. A skype-outlook future was installed and after removing it things start to happen much faster.
Then I uninstalled outlook and reinstalled it again, but there is a lot of user setting (like where the pst file is) that stays there and does not get removed. And, all the problems is still the same.
All other office programs runs fast (it is a 3.2 Ghz PC with 1GB RAM + Win XP) withou any problems.
I want to know how to uninstall outlook and COMPLETELY remove ALL user setting (or ALL registry settings) and reinstall it to start with a FRESH installation of outlook, so that it is the same as when it is installed on a newly built PC.
Thank You

I would recommend uninstalling via the add/remove programs in the control panel. After that go to this link from Microsoft. There is a tool called the Microsoft Office Resource Kit (ORK). Download the ORK package (7.3mb) and install it. One of the tools is called "Office Removal Wizard" run it and have it remove everything. You should be good to go.
