Tried changing the boot sequence, but made no difference.
Finally got a reply from Symantec technical help, who said that on installing the product I should leave the CD in the drive once initial installation is complete and when restarting, as the Ghost Configuration Wizard will require some files from the CD once Windows has rebooted.

Change boot sequence to hdd, and then put back CD into drive, and restart system. After windows loaded, reject CD. The error message should disappear.
