Outlook Calendar and resource booking with Exchange 2003 and Sharepoint

Where can I find a case study to help model deployment of a number of Outlook calendars to control booking of resources and events, combine them on one calendar and assign different view permissions, and make accessible both inside and outside our company intranet. We are a large educational establishment so need to coordinate rooms, resources - projectors, screens, laptops - tasks for different workgroups, events bookings, links to task lists etc and mail notification using exchange 2003.
