VPN Software: Any easy to configure alternatives to Hamachi?

Hamachi is a great little application in my opinion, but free users can only have up to 16 per network.  In reality I need it to be unlimited users on a network.

Is there any application as simple as Hamachi that will allow for unlimited users on a VPN?

Do you actually need unlimited users?
From what I read it will only allow 16 basic members AND 256 premium members per network, so a total of 272 machines per network
BUT if you set up a single member machine on a network then use it as a router/gateway to another LAN segment I do not believe that it limits how many machines can tunnel trough it (you would only have 2 machines in the network).  Would this resolve your problem?  Or do you have that many individual users that would need to join into the network?

I have a lot of individual users.

I had a look at OpenVPN before Joe, and it confused even me :P!

Ipig is another option.
I gave up on ipig and hamachi and just started the vpn server on my windows 2000 server.

simple solutions include hamachi, ipig and windows vpn.
more complicated solutions include openvpn, ipcop ( actually a router/firewall that does VPN as well)

I think all these options do have limits on the number of users.
I think they go in increments of 256, 512, 1024
some use PPTP some use IPSEC some use both.
