I know its not the most technical software to be using, but it drives me crazy with one thing. I have to program setup to open in the second monitor. The program opens where its supposed to, but all my other windows that popup come up on the first monitor. So, if someone sends me a message, it shows up on the first monitor and not the second. This is a problem for me due to the software I run. I use it on the main monitor, but its full screen so nothing shows behind it. I know I could move some software over to my primary monitor, but I'd figured I would ask and see if someone has a solution for this. Thanks so much.

You havent said what browser you are using. The popup function is usually emulating a browser action, even in YIM. If you are assign your browser to monitor 2, and then allow unannounced popups (in Moz and Firefox there is a setting to block or allow popups) -- do those popus come in monitor 2, or do they also default to monitor 1? What I am getting at is that if you can reassign the browser popups to monitor 2, it may also affect YIM. If all popups default to monitor 1 and you can't fix in the windowing software to assign the "browser new window function" to monitor 2, then you might be stuck.
