Sure, you can either customize the theme with local style sheet or modify the page directly. You need SharePoint Designer 2007 to do it.

Thanks.

Do you need SharePoint Designer 2007 to customize the theme with local style sheet?    How do I do that?  I want a solution where I can just utilize SharePoint.

You need to turn on Publishing feature in order to use your own style sheet from set settings.

Thanks.

How do I turn on Publishing feature?    I need step-by-step instructions.

by: cobrachenPosted on 2007-07-31 at 12:02:04ID: 19603214

First you have turn it on from the top-level site "site collection features".

Then go to the sub site to turn on from the"site feature".

Then from set settings->Welcome Page, select to use your own style sheet.

Thanks.

That would change it for the entire sub-site.  I want to change it only within a Calendar, I need to have different colors for different entries within the Calendar.  What you have advised would change it for everything on the sub-site.

Then you may have to find a 3rd party product to help you since calendar web part is not customizable without using SharePoint Designer 2007.

Thanks.
