The customer is using a mixed environment of Outlook 2000 and 2003 clients connecting to a shared Linux hosting service which does not provide a mechanism for this type of request on the server side.
I know this can be done from within the Outlook client, but am concerned about it not being transparent to users (especially with replies, etc).
I've been looking at WebWatcher software (http://www.awarenesstech.
I'm always hesitant when deploying anything like this and there's no "free trial" so I'm equally suspicious.
Has anyone had any experience with this (good or bad)? Would you recommend? I'm also open to alternative software if you can suggest anything.
TIA

Personally I haven't used this monitoring software. I have heard a few good things about this program from other IT professionals. Good things I have heard were ease of use, very interactive, monitor anything, real time results. I have also heard that it is easy to implement in a network environment.

I checked out the website and see that it says that it's the number one monitoring software. I have found a top 10 monitoring software site which doesn't display WebWatcher. Personally I think WebWatching should be a good tool from what I have heard but if you want to check out that top 10 list I have found here is the site.
