Cannot delete tasks from personal folder Outlook 2003

Hello Experts,

I have an end user that cannot delete tasks from one of her personal folder files in Outlook 2003.  I tried exporting the PST file to my machine and have the same problem.  When you right click on tasks "delete tasks" is grayed out.  Short of porting everything else to another PST (personal folder file) and deleting this one, what can be done, and why is Outlook doing this?

Hello mb2010,

PST file is corrupt. Repair Damaged Outlook PST File
ScanPST
http://www.emailaddressmanager.com/outlook/repair.html
OR
Outlook Recovery Toolbox
http://www.oemailrecovery.com/outlook-recovery.html

ScanPST did not find anything.  However that Outlook Recovery Toolbox found some corruption.  After part of the PST was repaired (cannot repair the entire file in demo version) I was able to delete Tasks.  Everything from the original PST was ported over to a new PST file and then she could delete the tasks folder and still have all content.
