Browse All TopicsI have a one forest one domain Windows 2003 DC with one production Exchange 2003 server and one newly installed Exchange 2007 server. With all administrator passwords the same, after adding a new test 2007 mailbox, I am unable to expand the folder to resume testing email sends/receives in Outlook 2003. Has authentication "under the covers" become more secure and restrictive. Can domain administrators still add user mailboxes and view the mailbox as in the exchange 5.5. and exchange 2003 world? Has anyone else receive the UNABLE TO EXPAND FOLDER and viewing of test mailboxes with outlook 2003 and outlook 2007 with a newly installed Exchange Server 2007? THANKS!
Error in Outlook 2003:
Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Office Outlook could not access the specified folder location
I am unable at this point to determine if this is a routing or connector problem, vs. a securit or permissions problem with the exchange security groups, as I have heard 2007 has more advanced security options.

Did you look at this KB yet? It sounds like a permission error. In later version of exchange, Domain Admin does not have much permission in mailbox. Check to see if your Domain Admins has full right to the mail box. om/kb/8395 31
