WINZIP 11.1 removal when getting error message

I want to remove Winzip 11.1 from my computer but get: 'Error 1402 Could not open key UNKNOWN\wzmul\shell\open\command Verify that you have sufficient access to that key.
I have used Add/Remove and tried to uninstall. I have used Windows Installer Cleanup and after a search have deleted all things Winzip.I have then attempted to install Winzip but receive the same Error 1402 even though a search does not show up anything associated with Winzip.
I am runnung Windows XP Pro, service pack 2 and am the sole administrator. I have had no trouble, in the past, installing/uninstalling any software programs. Can anyone assist me?Start Free Trial
