I don't grok ISO at all--how do I get Quick Test installed?

Hello all,

I need to install a trial copy of HP Quick Test Professional urgently.  I have downloaded the ISO file itself, and have burnt a copy using MagicISO onto a DVD.   At this point, there is just the ISO file itself on the DVD, and all that happens when I click on it is that MagicISO wants to open it.

On the other hand, earlier on I was trying it from an expanded copy on the DVD, on which I could explore through all the files and folders.   By running "Setup.exe" at the top level, I could get the HP Installation Wizard to launch, but the install would then always fail because "The installer has detected a previous incomplete installation.  Please restart the computer to continue".   But if I do that, nothing happens.

I'm probably missing something very basic, but my understanding is that I just need to run the burned ISO copy from the DVD and it should work, presumably by just ejecting and re-inserting the DVD in the drive.

I'm lost and clueless, and need to get this done.   Most of what I find on the web assumes some passing familiarity with this file format.   I have none.
