ITunes music transfer

I copied my ITunes library on my desktop to the Public Music folder.  Then, I copied them from there to my laptop.

Now, they all appear on my laptop in a gigantic shared folder.  I don't like that.

How can I quickly move podcasts to the podcast menu list and music to the music list.  I can do it by moving them one at a time, but this is tedious.
