Question
Unable to setup scanner in remote office
I'm using the Sharpdesk 3.2 program and trying to setup an user to use the scan to desktop feature. I'm able to browse into the device thru IE and can do configurations. I can ping it as well. But when I try to add the device to the progam, I get an error stating....
Add failed.
Device x.x.x.x is not valid according to this vaildator.
HTTP Error 404: Object not found.
Device x.x.x.x is not valid according to this validator.
I have similiar device local to me and I have no trouble setting the user up when he's here.
Does anyone know what I can try next? Thanks.

There is nothing much you can do as scanners can only be installed locally and not remotely
