Text field that shrinks text to fit in field
I'm updating a fillable PDF form in Adobe LiveCylce. The previous form contained text fields that when a user typed into the field and began to exceed the visable space available the text would shrink to a smaller font to accomodate the extra characters. I can't seem to find this option in LiveCycle 8 however, does anyone know if this can still be done, and if so how to do it?

Hi Sharkbot,
To set the font to shrink to fit is a little clunky and not very intuitive. Here is what works for me in 8. Set the field up to allow multi-line and limit length to visible area. Then on the Font palette, click on the right arrow below the Font tab (beside the text "currently editing caption and value"). Choose the Edit Value option. The text will update to say "currently editing Value properties. Change the font size to zero, "0" (you will have to type in the 0). Now when the amount of text exceeds the visible area the font size will drop a value to allow you to see all text. This can be a negative if we put too much text in then the font becomes so small that we connot read it. I hope this helps, it works for me.
