Browse All TopicsI am working on a laptop that the EU is claiming will randomly power off and it running slow. I have had the system on the bench for 3 days straight without a shutdown and overall the system seems to be running at an acceptable speed for the proc and mem that is in it. I was wondering if someone can recommend some software that I can run to stress test / burn in test a system with. also if there is some good software to run a benchmark on the system to show that it is running at the appropriate speed. Of course, I would prefer free versions, but if there is software that is worth the money, then I will gladly pay for it. for testing the system, I would like something that will test ALL (major) components of a system with a fair amount of load on the system. I know there are programs out there, but there are so many I dont know where to start looking and I would hope that someone on here can give me some good advice to start my own evaluation. Thanks! Also, anything like a diagnostic program would be great to have as well.
