Asked by USBDev in OCR / Scanner Software, Miscellaneous Software, Office & Productivity Software
Hi
I am looking for a good solution that can help read through scanned images (TIFF, PDFs etc) and convert hand written text to machine editable/searchable text.
My understanding -
1) OCR does help recognize text that is machine identifyable (machine recognized fonts)
2) ICR only works on non cursive handwritten text where each alphabet is separate
3) NHR (Natural Handwriting) working on cursive handwriting, but I am not able to get a good tool for that.
So what are my best options to convert handwritten pages to machine recognized text?
Considerations: Money is is no barrier and custom development is not an option - no time:)
This is very urgent :(
Truly appreciate your help folks!
