Quicktime error 2048 the file is not a movie file.
I get this error whenever I try to play a .mov file. "error -2048: The file is not a movie file". what's wrong?

i think the file might be corrupt. also did you created the file yourself or did someone else create it.. you can change the file extension to what ever you wnat. did you know that? ie you can create a txt file like file.txt and change the extension to file.mov that doesnt mean that the file will be play to quicktime... hope this helps
