Browse All TopicsI have a Dell WinXP, and I tried to reinstall Musicmatch. It prompted me to check for updates, which I did. However, setup wouldn't complete and when I tried to start the program, the opening screen flashed briefly for a few moments and then disappeared.
I went to the Musicmatch website, and followed instructions to uninstall in add/remove programs. However, the program wouldn't uninstall, and the following message appeared:
>SetupDLL\SetupDLL.cpp (509)
PAPP:Musicmatch Jukebox
PVENDOR:Musicmatch (http://www.Musicmatch.com
PGUID:(with a long number after it)
$9.1.0.429
@Windows XP Service Pack 2 (2600) IE 6.0.2900.2180
Installshield then presented me with error code -5001.
I tried to manually remove the program by deleting the folder contents under program files/musicmatch....but I was unabel to delete a number of files, namely:
CoreDll.dll
crypt.dll
Enforce.dll
FileAssoc.dll
LabelLic.xml
licmgr.dll
mm_tray.exe
mm_upnsvr.dll
mmdrm.dll
mmgit.dll
mmuiserv.dll
MMXmlHttp.dll
mmz_ezp.lst
NetUtilsDLL.dll
ObjectManager.dll
ObjectManager.xml
SkinnedCtrls.dll
TrackUtils.dll
If anyone can help me with this, I would very much appreciate it.
