um take a picture of a yellow square you are the one who has to know the size of this.

if you have a video camera put a bright yellow sheet or a large screen anything yellow video tape it for 50 secs add it to your computer.
I use HT Joiner splitter to do something like this. This will be a lot of little processes. Firstly you'll have to edit the size of the yellow video clip into a small segment and add that to your movie.

( make a copy of the movie the original) use the copy only to edit so that if you miss a bit as you try it you always have the original)
what you do is add the copy of your movie clip and the yellow video image you have just done... to the frame just use the drag and drop. then put which ever you wish to go first it in the center for the editing it will start to play, stop it then cut it and put the start and end.
It drops it down to the multi split or split or join.
You'll have to try some small pieces to figure it, its not hard.
