APE format - burn CD - how?

Hi experts,

I am looking for simple, intuitive software for burning CD from APE format. Both Windows and Linux as well as creating APE files are also of interest.

If you have a cd burner or dvd burner any files format can be burnt as data discs thus retaing the exact format of the files burnt.
