Question about Adobe/MM Captivate?

We have a free trial version of Captivate 2 we are evaluating.  Two issues have popped up.  

1.  When we upload the swf file and the skin to our SharePoint 2007 server, we cannot get the tool bar controls (play, stop, pause) to appear on the screen using MS IE 6.  

2.  We're getting a MS Visual Basic error during some operations--I can't quote it because it flashes on the screen and then takes the entire browser with it, closing both.  

We're new to this, of course.  But I really want this to work because I'm not that thrilled with Camtasia.  Unfortunately, Camtasia runs perfectly.  Any Ideas?

I am doing some troubleshooting on a suspect installation of Captivate 2 that is exhibiting some unusual behavior without throwing an error message.  So here are some details I gathered which may be of use to anyone else also using (or evaluating) the program.

Regarding Adobe Captivate 2's memory use and system load: (FYI)

Adobe Captivate
Memory Useage - Peak Memory - VM Size
25,972 Mb - - - 25,972 - - - 18,652

On a typical Windows XP, 1 Gb RAM platform:
501 Mb memory free


Adobe Captivate 2
Memory Useage - Peak Memory - VM Size
48,692 Mb - - - 48,704 - - - 38,172

On a typical Windows XP, 1 Gb RAM platform:
477 Mb memory free

The installation I am checking has some Project fields that are intermittently editable and a "Project" menu that will not drop-down properly (basically unseable).
