I am trying ot get windows media center to work with my new FIOS cable TV and internet. I have a setop box next to my computer with the coaxial line going into my set top box and the video out going into my tuner card. When I try to configure the TV signal I get the message that IR hardware is not detected.
What is this IR hardware and do I need to purchase it. I can change the channels with the remote set top box if I leave WMC on channel 3. But when I change stations on the WMC channel selector it naturally does not change the FIOS station and everything is static
