My sound ain't workin'?!!!!

Hi
i have a computer
Gigabyte 9vm00pmc M/B
Intel celeron d 336 2.8Ghz
1Gb Ram Generic
80Gb Hdd
Dvd-rw
generic case
i  used to have a different one and i took out the old hard drive and clone it to the new HARD DRIVE i have installed all the new drivers but every time i reboot or shut down then turn on it tells me that there is no sound i have uninstalled and reinstalled the Via AC'97 Codec a thousand times!! but every time i reboot the sound is not there. i go to device manager and update the driver from my cd and then it works but when i reboot its gone!! i am running windows xp pro sp2 an di can't find any solution!! (i think the old sound was c-media and i tried uninstalling it but even though is says its gone i still see it in remove programs)Start Free Trial
