It goes through the first step and gets stuck on the second step (mixing audio). It stays there and does not go any further. I've done a lot of projects before on this machine when it was still XP. Now on Vista, it just doesn't want to go through. Is there something I don't know about like a compatibility issue between Photo Story3 and Vista?
I have Windows Vista Ultimate and I'm trying to run Windows Photo Story 3.

i am sure there are compatibilty issues with things like this..lots of programs and games that i have run on vista, tend to be a ton slower, and stop working. but then when i switch back to xp, it all works great....i would wait another 5 years at least before upgrading to vista, just to make sure everything can work with it, and you have a system that can handle it. xp is pretty much the norm still for all pc's. stupid vista. they make it look so nice, but you need to spend at least 2 grand on a computer to run it. my pc i have now isn't top end but it's not low end either, it's in the middle. i spent around 800 on it and it has dual processors, 2 gigs ddr2 ram, 2 8600gt graphic cards, dvdrw drive , and 160gb hard drive. i would stick with xp if i were you. just from my experiences
