Question
High performance automated screen capture program needed
Hi All.
I need a program capable of capturing screenshots in an automated manner. By automated, I mean I should be able to specify an interval in seconds between each shot. Even better, I really need to specify less than 1 second between shot, for example .5
It should be able to dynamically name each subsequent screen shot to a file on the file system for future processing.
I came across Fergo -> http://www.brothersoft.com
but it crashes when the shot interval is <1

Have you looked at Camtasia, which will let you capture whatever happens on your screen and create a video? http://www.techsmith.com/c
but it crashes when the shot interval is <1<< I think any program that snapshots at an interval of 1 sec with Automated naming and option to add date and time needs at least 2 secs..
Its probably crashing because your computer cant match the speed required to do this.
Have you checked with manufacturers of this program what its limits is?

You also might want to try CamStudio. This software is designed to create mpeg, avi ect. . but it is very customizable so you can increase the time between each screen capture to what ever you want. It will run until you stop it. I have use it extensively for training and tech support. Best of all its free.:)
