Tutorial for Darwin Streaming Server under Ubuntu Hardy 8.04 ?

Hi,

I'm looking for tutorial about how to build Darwin Streaming Server under Ubuntu Hardy 8.04. I've Googled it but nothing found for Ubuntu Hardy 8.04 :(

Does anyone know where to find it or can you post the tutorial here ?

Also, give me the direct link to download the latest version of Darwin Streaming Server for Ubuntu Hardy.

The latest build of the Darwin Streaming Server only comes in a tarball. This means you will need to compile it from the source for your platform.

Darwin Streaming Server 6.0.3 -- Streaming Server 6.0.3 server and proxy source code:
http://dss.macosforge.org/downloads/DarwinStreamingSrvr6.0.3-Source.tar

There is a binary release of the Darwin Streaming Server, version 5.5.5, but it was pre-made for Fedora Core 4 and later -- http://dss.macosforge.org/post/41/

As for a tutorial, the closest thing I could find was the Administration manual...

I've downloaded it, the DarwinStreamingSrvr6.0.3-Source.tar. How to compile it? I need the .tar.gz. I found a tutorial. The source must .tar.gz theN run ./Install from terminal.

To uncompress a tarball, type: 'tar -xvf filename.tar'

If the tarball is compressed with gzip, type: 'tar -zxvf filename.tar'
