Help me change Winamp default view
I have an annoyance with Winamp 5.5.4.1. When I double clcik an mp3 or video it always open in full browser mode, and I want this behaviour:
if it's an audio file, open winamp in the basic or compact mode, not browser Media Libaray tab.
if it's a video, is there a way to have it open straight into the Vidoe tab wihtout it going to the browser Media Libaray tab? Ideally I'd like to be able to have the video window undocked and on top as I double click my videos. Too much mousing is driving me crazy.

Hi, I've got winamp 5.1 how many settings have you tinkered with as there is a lot to go through.

>> not browser Media Libaray tab.<< a browser media library? what are you referring to? The Media Library, it's not opening into that becuase of your files you added but rather you have ticked to open that when winamp runs you can just disable that

what skin do you currently have?

If I use the old skin there is an option to undock just above the video windows
I would suggest you always open winamp first then drag and drop your files on rather than left mouse click and auto run them
The settings I have> will include a couple of snaps
first at the top bar on left side
r/click it
then tick only
Main Window <<
Playlist Editor<<
Equalizer<<
And then no library will open when you open any files
If you have that silver skin look for the config tab at the bottom right and the detatch tab on the top left of the video panel
