Asked by xenium in General Multi-Media Software, Web Development, Miscellaneous Web Development
hi,
i'm looking to find out if something exists, and if not possibly to create it if not too much work.
Requirement: to play any video (eg from youtube) with a player (preferably with slow/fast forward/rewind options), at the same time as displaying below a rolling script commentary that keeps scroll position in time with the video. The commentary would be loaded from a text file eg
00:12:45 Bob raises right hand
00:12.47 John turns to look at Bob
00:12.51 Bob speaks
I'm imagining a webpage that as a minimum allows a user to open a video file and a commentary file. This would be for training purposes.
Alternative would be to load also a sound file (or another video file) and play this in parrallel keeping timing with the first (ie one set of controls for play / rewind etc)
Any ideas welcome!
Thanks!
