CANNOT PLAY VIDEO

hi i downloaded a movie from the net transformer 2 (p2p)
its about 742MB avi format
when i play in player it says error cannot play   .....play in windows media player
 when i play in WMP in about 19 sec it redirects me to a page which i know is a virus and designed like microsoft

but i want to see the movie is there anything i can do??

Unless you live in some really remote area  I'm sure you have heard it's illegal to download copyright video.
On that we cannot assist you.
Go see it in the Cinema.

Transformers2 is available to rent from your local video store once it is released to the Market.
Most of the sites that offer PSP are dangerous/ watch freeonline only redirect you to other sites that charge a fee.
You'll have to wait till it's fully released dear.

i would suggest downloading vlc as it comes with a host of codecs that windows media player does not, but since the video appears to be  in a container, giving it the ablilty to execute a redirect link i would delete it with haste and avoid public trackers and p2p like the plague as they can lead to annoying threating letters from drm agencies and possibly cause problems with your pc that can only be repaired with a fresh windows install.

that said, i would advise a virus scan and spyware scan before participating in any financial transactions on that particular machine and any otheres on your netwrok
