Browse All TopicsRoxio Media Manager keep popping up a window trying to install itself. Can anyone tell me how to stop this and remove it completely? I let the installation continue and it appeared to complete, although I didn't see any confirmation. I then attempted to remove it using Add/Remove programs. It was no longer listed there, so I thought it was gone. Suddenly it pops up and starts installing again.
I also have Blackberry desktop manager installed on here. I've heard it could be related. I don't need either. When I try to remove the Blackberry software, it fails saying another installation is in progress. ANy ideas?

I was able to solve the problem by allowing the Roxio app "complete" its installation. Technically, it didn't complete because it would start all over once the computer was rebooted. SO, Im gussing it just timed out. Anyway, once it timed out, the Blackberry software would allow me to run its uninstall program. It took quite a while, maybe 10 minutes or more but it uninstalled itself and it also uninstalled the Roxio software.

Hi cwilliambrown, this sounds to me like you didnt remove the previous versions correctly. com/startu pinspector .php et/Tweak/U ninstaller s/Roxio- Za p.shtml
Or windows attempted to automatically install before you could
When this happens I suggest you remove your software in safemode.
before removing Roxio stop the associated processes.
before removing Blackberry stop it's processes and unplg it.
look in the start menue and delete these items from starting with windows.
there may be a .exe or an installer running in the startup group
Go to start all programs Start-Up
or use this tool
http://www.windowsstartup.
Remove any setup discs after the installer has finsihed and before rebooting/
you can try the tool but you must have Roxio uninstalled first
Remove Roxio software trails from your computer
