how can I convert an .rmvb file to mpeg2 or DVD compatiable format?
Hi Everyone;
I am wondering how I might can convert an .rmvb file to mpeg2 or a DVD compatiable format. I have read some fairly good reviews regarding Total Video Converter, but, I am not sure if it can carry out what I want to do here.
Any shared thoughts or suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks so much for the prompt followups. I do have a couple of followup questions. First, are both of these programs freeware or shareware? And, secondly, will it be possible to select several .rmvb files at the same time and covert to mpeg 2? Or, will the conversion need to be done one at a time?

Hi Everyone;
After carefully reviewing the feedback given along with the resourceful and informative links, I decided to go along with Ultra RMVB Converter. The screen shots given for this utility were easy to understand which gives me the confidence needed to undertake this project.
With respect to the other suggested utilities, they will be used as backup plans just in case things don't work out with Ultra RMVB Converter. I always prefer having two or more options of carrying out a project which increases the odds of success.
Many thanks once again everyone for the attention and interest given to this question. I found everyone's input relevant to this question. And, since everyone technically answered this question, I decided to split up points as an act of acknowledgement of this point.
