shoot video 3d effect around people dancing
Hi,
I saw some commercials with the camera shooting around a group of people dancing. The video camera was moving around the group of people. If I recall correctly they group of dancers were stopped but the video camera was still rotating around. It was a really neat effect. I'm just wondering how that's achieved.
Thanks<><

Thankyou vkimura2007,I'd be happy to check out the video you found, indeed the technology today is mind numbing. Fantastic stuff.
I see in one of those links scripting can be used to create an image array , impressive!!
There is a web site called CG Network if you like to get the latest on CGI productions.
These are the people who do all those amazing things in the movies.
When you see how it's done, the behind scenes and how much of a movie is CGI technology, it just goes to show most of it not real.
They show what software and techniques used. Especially with the war movies.

I found some stuff on camera array set ups on youtube:

And here are some links to photo camera setups from the bing search:

Pelican has one that will be sold to manufacturers with a 16 array camera for the mobile phones. Really amazing what's possible with their technology. This should be on digital cameras to get super high resolution array photos and perhaps videos.
