I have a very strange request guys. I can't seem to find anything anywhere. Let me give some background first.
Where I work we have many machines with dual or triple monitor setups that run off of matrox graphics cards. It seems to become a hassle when we have to make a repair to these and only have one monitor available at the time. Most of the time I don't really want to set it back to 1 screen, then set it back to 3 when i'm finished. Say I have it on the left most screen and I decide to install something and it comes up on the middle screen then I end up switching the cable on the back, back and forth multiple times.
So I was thinking there has to be something out there where even if I don't have all monitors hooked up, I can pan to the left or right within the screens. I'm pretty proficent in visual basic and recently tried starting to pick up .net but I havent been able to get started in the right direction.
I also know I can remote into the machine via VNC and it can display all 3 screens even though some aren't connected, but sometimes network connectivity isn't an option.
And if I rely on a program, i'd like it to be as light as possible. Something I can easily take off when i'm finished.
