The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. Infopath form and Sharepoint List/Form Library

I am running MOSS 2007, and I have a 2 part Info Path/Sharepoint Question.

I have an Info Path form that I have a set of radio buttons on.  When I go to publish this to the web the radio buttons are looked at as a single line of text and not as a multi valued item. Firstly is it possible to change this once published as well is there something I need to change to get the column to be a choice or multivaled list?

The second problem I have is I would like to pull in data in from different list on the site to the form, which I can do but when I post it to the web, I want the data to be linked to the other tables/forms.  So lets say I have:

Name            Age         Location
Tom              30            New York
Mary             21           Florida
Jim                36           Texas

When I reference the Name field in my form, when it post the data back to share point I want a link from the Tom field to be link directly to that list.  I do have sharepoint designer if needed to do this but I will need a step by step explaination.Start Free Trial
