The Solution Rating System

NSLOOKUP resolves but still cannot surf the internet

We have a network with 4 VLANs. The DC resides on VLAN1. Any computer on the same VLAN as the DC can surf the internet without any problems. All the computers on the other VLANs cannot. They all point to the DC for DNS resolution. If we do an NSLOOKUP on any machine on any VLAN, they all resolve just fine. But the computers on VLANs 2,3, and 4 just cannot get on the internet. If I set up a proxy (located on VLAN1) and point the computers on theother VLANs to it, they can get to the internet that way. I would really like to know what I need to do to get them on the internet without going through the proxy. Could it be that we need to reboot our Cisco switches(Catalyst 6509)? As far as I know, nothing has changed on our network.
