I'm having problems getting my T1 connection up and could use some advice...
I have the following:
1. Two brand new Cisco 1841's each with a dual port T1 card in slot 1. (not a CSU/DSU combo card)
2. Two brand new Adtran TSU ACE CSU's 2nd Gen (1202295L1)
www.adtran.com 3. A point to point T1 (DS1) connection through Verizon.
The line details are:
B8ZS ESF No timing on the line - I must provide timing.
Everything is hooked up. There are no alarms on the CSU's.
I've set the timing on the CSU on one side to 'Internal' and on the other CSU I set it to 'Network'.
Verizon tested the line and said there are no apparent problems.
Cisco says both routers are correctly configured.
I talked with Adtran support and they said that I should default the CSU's and only change the timing (one internal and one network) and the settings should be correct.
The line at location #1 goes up up for a few minutes and then goes down again.
