I have two computers on my home (wired) network -- let's call them Server and Desktop.  Both are running XP Pro.  I can see the shares on Server from Desktop, but I cannot see the shares on Desktop from server and get the error message:

\\Desktop is not accessible.  You might not have permission to use this newwork resource.  Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.  The network path was not found.

I tried creating an Administrator account on the Desktop with the same username/password as my account on the Server machine, but it did not change the result.Start Free Trial
