Our small office has a particular Windows Server 2003 server that hosts an SQL 2000 database and Microsoft CRM 3.0.
In increasing frequency several times in the morning per week, all clients lose connectivity and are unable to access CRM.
I dont believe the problem is CRM however, because as the administrator I also lose the ability to connect to the server via Remote Desktop, so it seems its more of a network problem.
At the server however, I am able to access the internet and initiate Remote Desktop connections to other servers and clients. It's just the inbound connections stop.
A quick remedy to the problem is to disable the LAN card and re-enable it. Once done, inbound connections are restored. CRM and RDP to the server becomes accessible again immediately after.
I have tried updating the HP Proliant ML350 servers drivers for the LAN card- no help. There are also no obvious errors in the event viewer.
Any ideas?
