I cannot get video in either direction when communicating with NetMeeting through a Cisco 871. I need to use NetMeeting between remotes and XP Pro; sadly, I don't know much about NetMeeting or H.323.
From our LAN, behind the Cisco 871, we can initiate and receive calls with audio, use all the NetMeeting related features, but no video in either direction. If I use a Mac with XMeeting on my LAN, I also have video both directions with the NetMeeting clients on the remotes. Without the router, NetMeeting works fine, but of course I need the router.
Debugs show that the router is recognizing and fixing the H323 & H225 traffic; if the inside client is XMeeting, an H245 tunnel is found, if NetMeeting, there is no H245.
A typical log with XMeeting on my side looks like:
003813: Sep 23 07:40:55.221 PCTime: NAT: H225: [0] processing a Setup message
003814: Sep 23 07:40:55.221 PCTime: NAT: H225: processing a Setup message
003815: Sep 23 07:40:55.221 PCTime: NAT: H225: pdu_len :153 msg_IE:20
003816: Sep 23 07:40:55.221 PCTime: NAT: H225: [0] Version:6
003817: Sep 23 07:40:55.221 PCTime: NAT: H225: [0] found Setup destCallSignalAddress
003818: Sep 23 07:40:55.221 PCTime: NAT: H225: [0] fix H323TransportAddress addr=2.2.2.2 port=1720
003819: Sep 23 07:40:55.221 PCTime: NAT: H225: [0] found Setup sourceCallSignalling
003820: Sep 23 07:40:55.221 PCTime: NAT: H225: [0] fix H323TransportAddress addr=192.168.2.250 port=30000
003821: Sep 23 07:40:55.221 PCTime: NAT: H225: [0] H323TransportAddress addr changed 192.168.2.250->1.1.1.1
003822: Sep 23 07:40:55.221 PCTime: NAT: H225: [0] found h245Tunneling
003823: Sep 23 07:40:55.221 PCTime: NAT: H225: message changed, encoding back
With NetMeeting inside the log looks the same, except for the line with "found h245Tunneling". With XMeeting, there is subsequent H245 traffic throughout the call.
What's special about NetMeeting? Any suggestions? I have followed the suggestions from other posts as to which ports to open - but without success.
